Most of the homes we work on are over 100 years old and have experienced various issues over time, such as damp, failed pointing, or damage caused by leaking gutters and pipes. Once the brickwork is opened up, we identify any bricks that require repair or replacement, clearly mark them, and discuss everything with our client before proceeding.

Seeing poorly executed restoration work, especially recent jobs, is one of the reasons we take such pride in doing things properly. We believe in delivering the best possible finish, as strong kerb appeal and positive feedback reflect the value we bring to the areas we work in.

The outside of my house has been completely transformed by Jon and his team. The old sprayed-on paint was removed on the back and the front, and the bricks cleaned and repointed. Jon and his team did a fantastic job repointing our building. The price was very fair compared to some quotes we received and honest – the price per brick for repairs was given and overall cost agreed before Jon went any further. I used Jon a couple of years back for the front facade and this time round we needed the paint and cement pointing removed from the side return and back. The job went from big to bigger due to the paint hiding a lot of the previous owner’s DIY crimes and shortcuts. Jon’s team worked meticulously brick by brick on getting the Victorian walls back to exceptional conditions. A lot of unforeseen work had to be slotted in, but we are chuffed to bits with the end result. He even touched up the pointing upfront in a few areas, where we had knocked a few bits out over time.
